Popup for TST extension that should occur once, occurs every time Zen is launched (Windows build issue, not Mac) #4695
Comments
Doesn't happen to me. |
On the current version of Zen Browser, I was able to fix the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling TST, and fiddling with some things. I'll try to see if I can still recreate this bug later. If anyone else runs into this issue, try opening the popup/updating permissions not from a private window. |

What happened?
Tree Style Tab has an issue in the Windows build of Zen Browser (but not in the Mac build). There is a popup reminder 'for first time users of Tree Style Tab'. In firefox on Windows and Mac, as well as in Zen Browser on Mac, this popup shows up like once. Instead of showing up in Zen on Windows once, the popup appears every time I launch Zen.
It might be reasonably for the popup to continue to show up if TST is given no permissions. (Clicking the popup goes to a TST generated page for granting permissions related to managing tabs, bookmarking trees etc.) However, even after TST is given permissions the popup continues to reoccur.
Reproducible?
