What happened?

I just downloaded zen and I added the extensions I usually use, one of them is ublock and when I added it, it pinned automatically but it was the right of address bar, and since I use left panel, it showed out of context and were overlaying the website area, but when I pinned it and unpinned it, it got back to normal

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

Version

Can confirm that I have the same issue on 1.7.6b Windows 11 when using "Single Toolbar" layout. When switching to Multiple or Collapsed it is in the Top Toolbar and causes no issue.

Hi, @Zweycinder. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the desktop team manage their backlog. I'm marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • The uBlock extension in the Zen browser automatically pins to the right of the address bar, overlaying the website area.
  • This issue occurs on version 1.7.5b on macOS - aarch64 and version 1.7.6b on Windows 11.
  • Manually pinning and unpinning the extension resolves the issue temporarily.
  • Switching from the "Single Toolbar" layout to "Multiple" or "Collapsed" layouts resolves the problem.

Next Steps:

  • Please confirm if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the desktop repository by commenting here.
  • If there is no further activity, this issue will be automatically closed in 7 days.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
