Keybinds won't work properly on zen

What happened?

I've tested this on any other browser and i can confirm its not an issue on my side, basically when pressing keybinds like ctr+t instead of new tabs it works like ctr+l and focuses on the url bar. i tried setting the keybinds to default many times, also removed all my zen modes and still nothing works

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

Updated to 1.7.6b today and new tab functionality is gone.
I understand why they did this, but I need a new tab with start page where I actually see the bookmarks toolbar and the start page.

Please allow using old tab behavior from settings.
