[1.10b] Problem reproducing music after new update #6567
Comments
I have this with Spotify too in 1.10b, exactly 45 seconds of no-focus. |
It's the same with Youtube Music. Zen switches automatically to the Youtube Music tab and wants to reload (?) it because I see the dialog "This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave — information you’ve entered may not be saved." with the "Stay on Page" or "Leave Page" selection. |
You cannot use Spotify because it has DRM. It's not new. |
Sorry, forget to mention, I use Linux. Zen has DRM support there. |
Have the same bug with Youtube Music on Windows 11 as well. Zen is basically unusable with YT music. |
Experiencing the same issue with Spotify here, though the issue does not occur if I add Spotify to essentials. |

What happened?
Since updating to 1.10b, I can't listen to music on Zen, as the stream randomly stops (using self-hosted Jellyfin). It was working perfectly until I updated, and it works perfectly fine in default Firefox and in other browsers.
If I have focus on the tab reproducing the music, then there is no problem, otherwise after exactly 45 seconds of no-focus, the music will stop, and also the controls in the music player won't work.
Reproducible?
