What happened?

The floating music notes coming from the website favicon in the new music player have an animation by default, even though animations are turned off as an accessibility feature (prefers-reduced-motion is true).

For many people this persistent animation can be distracting, and it should respect the device accessibility settings.

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

Just noticed #5048 and #6466, this animation is particularly egregious though
