spotify can't play songs

What happened?

every time I try to use Spotify in the browser it skips a whole bunch of songs in one second and never let's me actually unpause the song or even the ad, just refuses to work

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

The reason why is a little bit more documented on the other issue. Ultimately they need to fix this issue, and you should be able to fix it the same way it's fixed on firefox: #6533
