What happened?

The red/yellow/green buttons in the macOS title bar are all dark grey. If you move the mouse over them they light up again properly, but only while the mouse pointer is on them.

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

Version

1.10b (Firefox 136.0.2) (aarch64)

What platform are you seeing the problem on?

macOS - aarch64

I just upgraded to 1.10.1b (Firefox 136.0.2) (aarch64) and the problem still exists.

Seriously!? If so, this is a poor decision and is opposite of the spirit of the Apple HCI guidelines if not the letter. It's personally annoying to me because I can no longer tell at a glance which window has focus and it's tripped me up repeatedly for the past week.

You can turn the monotone controls off by going to about:config and setting zen.widget.mac.mono-window-controls to false. :)

Thanks for the pointer. I've re-enabled the window controls and all is right with the world. 👍
