This repo is getting flagged for vulnerabilities due to
markdown-toc
last being released in 2017 and so having some very old transitive dependencies.Which made me go looking for alternatives to https://github.com/jonschlinkert/markdown-toc.
Which made me stumble on https://github.blog/changelog/2021-04-13-table-of-contents-support-in-markdown-files/ 🤯.
It's kind of unfortunate that this GitHub feature is a bit hidden (that I haven't noticed it in 4 years), maybe we need to start a publicity campaign for the feature 😄.
Overall, I think the downside is pretty minimal in this repo since there's only one markdown file with a TOC anyways (assets.md).
