Missing font causes blank text on dialogs and Parts of the IDE #2188

Describe the problem
The "Preferences" dialog is completely missing text
To reproduce
Open the IDE, select File -> Preferences and view the result
Expected behavior
Menus should display
Arduino IDE version
arduino-ide_nightly-20230822_Linux_64bit
Operating system
Linux
Operating system version
KDE neon 5.27, Based on Ubuntu 22.04
Additional context
I tried the Flatpak as well as the stable and nightly appimages
I also installed the Microsoft fonts package
