the keyboard shortcut "CTRL+SHIFT+U" does its job but additionally writes the letter 'u' in the sketch, only in linux.

To reproduce

use the keyboard shortcut "CTRL+SHIFT+U"

Expected behavior

the letter 'u' should not appear
