HI,
The 2.3.2 nightly build and LTS Appimage do not open natively with a 'save' icon, or menu bar on Fedora 38. I have not upgraded this machine to Fedora 39 or 40 .
Troubleshooting gives toggling the Menu Bar as a 'hamburger' icon as the only work around.
Details here:
https://forum.arduino.cc/t/solved-linux-appimage-2-3-2-no-menu-unable-to-save-sketch/1242394/7?u=andrew_f_in_australia
note that:
(1) there is a --no-sandbox option needed to run from command line,
(2) the appimage executes successfully from the GUI
(may be part of the issue.)
It appears as though the only view the appimage opens is in 'compact' view, not the 'classic' view identified as default in the Preferences|Options (UI) interface.
It is possible that the 'classic' view (or any other view) is not supported in Fedora.
