[Feature Request]: how to use linux-rockchip other than shallow/kernel-git:latest package ?

Which feature would you like to have?

I forked the armbian/linux-rockchip for development and I want to develop on it. But the armbian/build used the shallow/kernel-git:latest package. So I can not commit my own commit. How should I do ?
