🌟 About Me

I'm a self-taught Software Engineer with over 13 years of professional experience.
I started out building cross-platform desktop applications, then transitioned into full-stack and backend-focused development.

I enjoy solving real-world problems with simple, practical, and maintainable code — whether working independently or as part of a team.

🛠️ My Journey

  • 2005: Learned Pascal and Visual Basic
  • 2007: Built desktop apps using REALbasic / Xojo
  • 2009: Made my first website for a client using PHP
  • 2012: Started working remotely for an Italian company (5+ years)
    • Built desktop apps for Windows, Linux, and macOS
    • Created CGI-based websites
  • Since then:
    • Worked with companies across the US, Europe, and Asia
    • Focused on web development, backend APIs and microservices (Symfony, Golang, TypeScript)
  • What's Next:
    • Revisiting AI and systems programming (Zig, Rust)
    • Exploring mobile development (Kotlin)
