MongoDB Atlas can push calculated metrics into Datadog to:
- Visualize key MongoDB Atlas metrics.
- Visualize MongoDB Atlas Vector Search metrics.
- Correlate overall MongoDB Atlas performance with the rest of your applications.
The integration includes out-of-the-box monitors and dedicated dashboards that enable you to view Atlas health and performance metrics. You can monitor throughput metrics, track the average latency of read/write operations over time, and create monitors that alert you when the number of current connections is approaching the maximum limit.
With MongoDB Atlas Vector Search metrics, you can also confidently use Atlas Vector Search to index, retrieve, and build performant gen AI applications.
Note: The MongoDB Atlas integration is only available on M10+ clusters.
You can install the MongoDB Atlas integration by logging in to your Atlas portal.
- Retrieve or create a Datadog API key.
- In the Atlas portal, enter a Datadog API key under Integrations -> Datadog Settings.
See metadata.csv for a list of metrics provided by this integration.
MongoDB Atlas can push alerts to Datadog as events.
The MongoDB Atlas integration does not include any service checks.
