librealsense 2.55.1 RELEASE
OS Windows
Creative RealSense 3D Camera Developer Kit (End of Service Life)
Model No: VF0800

Please provide a description of the problem:

I just graduated from a CNC program and decided to start a project hoping to learn more about 3D scanning objects used for manufacturing. I was given a RealSense 3D camera Model: VF0800 to use to scan object(s). I was hoping to bring the lidar scan into CAD for further rendering optimized for 3D printing. But I'm having issues finding software that is still compatible with camera because it is that it's out of service.

Hi @bphivilay The VF0800 was also known as the RealSense F200. It is not supported by modern RealSense software but there was a Windows-compatible programming SDK that supported it and is still available as the Legacy Librealsense SDK at the link below.

https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/tree/v1.12.1

There was also an F200-compatible Windows SDK in 2016 that came in two versions, '2016 R2' and '2016 R3'.

The R2 version contains the entire SDK in a single large 1.8 gb download. The download can be slow to begin and slow to complete, so once the download starts I recommend going off and doing something else for a while. The download can be launched in your browser using the link below.

http://registrationcenter-download.intel.com/akdlm/irc_nas/vcp/9078/intel_rs_sdk_offline_package_10.0.26.0396.exe

The R3 version is organized differently. Instead of downloading and installing a single very large program, you download and install a core 'Essentials' module, and then afterwards install optional modules for the features that you want to use, such as 3D object scanning. Details can be found at #13424 (comment)

Before installing any of the above SDKs though, you should first download and run a program called the Depth Camera Manager (DCM) that installs the driver software for F200 on your computer. The DCM for F200 can be obtained from the link below.
