The Vuforia Engine team is happy to announce our newest version. Below are the key updates in this release. Check out the release notes for the complete list.
New Improvements:
- New Enterprise Plan: An all-new Enterprise plan is now available, featuring access to our most advanced technology that can be utilized on-premises:
- On-Prem Advanced Model Targets: A new type of Model Target that can be generated without cloud training, keeping CAD data local. They behave similarly to cloud-trained Advanced Model Targets that can be recognized from any angle.
- Prem Step Check: A new AI-powered feature that visually verifies whether a step in a procedure has been performed correctly and requires no cloud training.
- State-Based Model Targets: State-Based Model Targets are no longer in beta and are available to everyone to track objects through a series of assembly or service steps.
- Cloud Area Targets: Process and store Area Target data in the cloud and stream it efficiently in portions, on-demand, and directly to users' devices. It's especially suitable for very large spaces.
- Bug Report #172 has been fixed. This fixes the issue of an observed offset on HoloLens 2 when delayed initialization was enabled.
