Shades of Purple for Warp Terminal

A collection of carefully crafted Shades of Purple themes for Warp Terminal (https://www.warp.dev), offering both classic and super dark variants.

🎨 Available Themes

  1. 🟣 Shades of Purple (Classic)

    • File: shades_of_purple.yaml
    • A vibrant purple theme with golden accents
  2. πŸŒ‘ Shades of Purple (Super Dark)

    • File: shades_of_purple_super_dark.yaml
    • A darker variant with deeper purples and enhanced contrast

⚑ Installation

πŸ“₯ Method 1: Manual Installation

  1. Create the themes directory if it doesn't exist:

    mkdir -p ~/.warp/themes
  2. Download the theme files:

    • Download shades_of_purple.yaml and/or shades_of_purple_super_dark.yaml
    • Place them in the ~/.warp/themes directory

πŸ“¦ Method 2: Git Clone

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/SHSharkar/Shades-of-Purple-Warp-Terminal.git
  2. Copy the theme files:

    cp Shades-of-Purple-Warp-Terminal/*.yaml ~/.warp/themes/

🎯 Applying the Theme

  1. πŸ–₯️ Open Warp Terminal
  2. ⌨️ Press Command + , (comma) to open Settings
  3. 🎨 Click on "Appearance"
  4. πŸ“‹ Select either "Shades of Purple" or "Shades of Purple (Super Dark)"

βš™οΈ Theme Activation

After installation:

  1. ⌘ + Q to quit Warp completely
  2. πŸš€ Launch Warp again
  3. ✨ Themes will be available in the theme selector

  • 🍎 macOS: ~/.warp/themes/
  • 🐧 Linux: ~/.warp/themes/
