Insert text in PDF

It is very very important to be able to insert text. I often fill in some forms that are not interactive and texts help a lot. I use I Love PDF for it, but I would happely switched to Stirling since it is selfhosted solution, fits good in my home setup.

I have just downloaded Stirling-PDF and this is a really big feature that is missing. Being able to add text directly onto PDFs is essential.

Sign text has a add text feature
additionally View-PDF has a text feature which might be more applicable for what you want

Indeed, View PDF has insert image and text, all that i need. It only lacks transparency for images. Anyway, it is already very usable tool.
