.NET9 On build agents

Anyone who knows when .NET 9 will be installed on build agents in general and for OSX in particular. We have a MAUI app and would like to benefit from the stability improvements made in .NET 9 without manually installing the SDK in pipeline for each run.

.NET 9.0 will be available across macOS-based images with the next deployment, basing on this PR: #11325
Probably by the end of this week.

Oh, got it!
There is an issue related to MacOSX.sdk visibility here: #11348
We are working on it now. No info to provide at the moment unfortunately. 😞

Hi @andreashellquist The xcodebuild error: for SDK is no longer present in macOS Images now. Could you please confirm if the problem still persists on your end? Please see Erik's comment related to this issue, Thanks.
