we lost our author/maintainer & need more contributors & maintainers badly anyways for our 600 000+ users & 4000+ installs per day. ( regular fixes & smart upgrades, both of which nobody could provide alone forever. #1881 )

Roadmap (Main /big opportunities to upgrade, also readme.md#roadmap):

• Smart content filtering & discovery ( in search, recommendations & history)
• Improving media / <video> on all websites, not just Youtube
  • List of missing 'Player-buttons' features that are needed frequently / manually on the page with 1 click/move
    • we can include the code from our newer extensions / global features Looper, frame-by-frame_ )
      • ImprovedTube can also run on other sites in future
    • Shortcuts

& you could just save time/electricity for many users, adding a list of GPUs

Maintenance (regular)

• fixing open #bugs
  • how to advertise this to the right people ( probably 1000s, but without bothering the other >99% of users?
    Inviting users who are Developers, without bothering the other 99%? #1560
    • ( We can automate browser-version updates later Automation of Testing, Github & Stores #842 )
      • shockingly all of the above (rare maintainers) also applies to X % of all extensions with dozens of millions of users in total, as of the pending new standard that will be enforced starting 2023. ( This is big! / Join us at https://github.com/code-for-charity/Manifest-v3 ) (Even considering this, ImprovedTube maintance can be most rewarding to start with for today. Yet in the follwing month we can extrapolate / automate some steps to help preserving other extensions too.)

Exceptional:

• (almost done?:) we need to move to manifest3 until june 1. Which means a list of small changes to support all features.
• finishing Victor's last work: #1439. ( #1581 )
• Bugs: #1495 - testing v4.0 since Nov16 with all users ~15 bugs reported!
