Migrate from github to gitlab

Hi,

We are migrating our project from github to gitlab, and we want to continue having the reports here (https://app.codecov.io/gh/MTES-MCT/camino/) is this possible ?

Right now we tried ./codecov upload-process --slug gh/MTES-MCT/camino -F ui -t $CODECOV_TOKEN --git-service gitlab but we always end up with a Commit creating failed: ["Repository not found"] error

To clarify, you want the coverge to remain "at GitHub" on Codecov, while the code actually lives on GitLab?

This is not possible due to how Codecov determines which APIs to call.

What is the decision logic behind this request, if I may ask? (Note that I'm not the product team that reviews these)

This is, unfortunately, a product constraint (in a nutshell, we are moving out of a "startup incubator" and the new structure holding the project has a gitlab-only policy)

Congratulations of the growth! Yes, you would need to start fresh on Codecov with GitLab.

Make sure to set a Team Bot https://docs.codecov.com/docs/team-bot if the repo is private so Codecov can access it (team bot is helpful as well even if public, I think there are a couple things the GitLab API doesn't like letting non-group members do to Merge Requests.
