documentation should be updated for all major operating systems like ubuntu, macOs (any way already there), centos, windows, amazon linux, etc.

it's even better to create a script to automate configuration

Can you please describe the configuration doc you're expecting?

  • Keychain on OSX and Credential Manager on Windows are native and self-managed
  • pass configuration exists everywhere if you want to use it's helper: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pass
  • secretservice is generally already configured when package is installed
