Readonly mode

Right now there is no such thing as 'readonly' mode. The only way to achieve something similar is to use:

api.getActiveWorkbook().getPermission().setWorkbookEditPermission('id', false)

But it doesn't actually makes the workbook readonly, it still allows to trigger some edit actions but the result is a modal that asks to request rights for edition.

There is another similar idea that contains some example of hacky code that tries to emulate such behaviour (but it doesn't support ability to select/copy value and can be incompatible with future version):

Is there any plans to add actual 'readonly' mode that will display the sheet without actions and will allow to scroll through it and select/copy values?
