firestore-stripe-payments : automatic_payment_methods not enabled by default ?

In the Stripe docs, when ´automatic_payment_methods´ is not given it defaults to true. Looking at this repo, this should be the case but I have plenty of payment methods active yet only see the card option.

I'm not sure exactly which version of the Stripe API this extension talks to or how it does it, so please point me in the right direction if I'm mistaken here. My goal is simply to have the maximum amount of payment methods be automatically available to customers.
