The Quick Reference found @ http://pihrt.net/Snippetica/QuickReference does not appear to be working, at least in the two browsers that I tried.

the pre-increment operator should be preferred over the post-increment, since the later makes a unnecessary copy. see: https://google.github.io/styleguide/cppguide.html#Preincrement_and_Predecrement
