On the native targets, the CIO engine doesn't support TLS, but the Darwin engine does. You can follow KTOR-7262 for updates on TLS support for the CIO engine.

This may be difficult: in Darwin engine, you cannot directly modify the SNI (iOS/Apple does not allow it).
But you can customize it through sslSocketFactory on the CIO or OkHttp engine.
