Current behaviour

The IOS app is not letting me attach files the normal way using the attach button in markdown or using the dropdown menu on the top righthand corner. But it does let me attach if I exit the app and hold down the app and the menu pops up to attach a file, but the Files app keeps poping up on every note I access.

Expected behaviour

When the attach button is pressed in markdown or the first button saying "Attach..." in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner. it should present the pop-up of "Choose an Option" with the options being:

  • Attach File
  • Attach photo
  • Take photo
When the "Attach File" option is pressed, a Files app pop-up should appear so that the user is able to chose the file they want and attach it to the note or To-do

I'm linking a pull request (currently only available in the iOS pre-release) that may be related to this part of the issue: #11839
