Playground and API returning different results for /extract method

Hi Firecrawl Team / Community,

I’m experiencing quite different results when using the /extract method in the Firecrawl API vs. the Playground.

Issue:

• When I run my request in the Playground, it returns a well-structured result matching my prompt.
• When I make the same request via the API, I receive more results than expected, and some are incomplete or missing fields.

The code in both cases is virtually the same (copy and pasted from the Integrate Now $\to$ Get Code option in the Playground).

Question:

• Are there any undocumented differences between how the Playground and API handle /extract requests? Perhaps the Playground applies ranking, filtering, or stricter schema validation that the API doesn’t?

Would really appreciate any insights into why this might be happening. Thanks in advance!
