Description of the new feature / enhancement

Although the Emoji Panel( windows : ) has a symbols section - it doesn't have a search option for some reason it can be frustrating to have to click about and try and spot the degree symbol or the upside down exclamation mark¡

Scenario when this would be used?

Given the range of symbols available now - have simple rapid access to the correct glyphs etc would make it much easier to find and use the correct symbols in all written work.

Like Quick Accent you mean? Hold the zero key + arrow left or right to see this

The upside down exclamation mark happens to be under the comma key ¡

Yes, you're right, but since you only mentioned ⁰ and ¡ I thought this might be sufficient.

I'd like this too.

I see lots of demand for a feature like this as it's related to #16353, #37146, #26270, #34427, #25190. And also #27370 and #11612, but those were closed saying simply "We've identified this issue that best is suited for Windows Feedback Hub. To do this on Windows, WinKey+F will bring it up!"

Also note that in order to see the Quick Accent descriptions, you have to enable this setting which is off by default:
