Remap key doesn't work when input language is not English

Steps to reproduce

1. Remap Alt (Right) to Space and save it.
2. It works when the selected input language is English.
3. Change input language (in my case it's Ukrainian).
4. Remap doesn't work.
5. Change the input language back to English, and the remap will work.

✔️ Expected Behavior

I'm not sure if it's a bug (it's the first time I'm using this tool).
Space on my keyboard is broken and I need to press it a few times before it writes a space. I decided to use another button as a Space. Since I regularly type in both languages, the expected behavior for me is for remap to work no matter what input language is chosen.

Maybe it's not a bug. Alt (Right) produces different keyCode depending on the chosen input language.
