Terminal opened twice (new tab or window), when setting "Run this profile as Administrator" #18611

Steps to reproduce

  • In the setting, turn "Run this profile as Administrator" on for the default profile.

Expected Behavior

Open only one window and tab.

Actual Behavior

  • Setting -> Startup -> New instance behavior
    • If set to "Create a new window" then two windows of terminal will be opened
    • If set to "Attach to the most recently used window" then two tabs will be opened.

Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report!
