  • MSSQL Extension Version: 1.10.1
  • VSCode Version: 1.60.2
  • OS Version: Win 10

Steps to Reproduce:

If right click on a table, "Edit Data" option is not available. It is available in Azure Data Studio application. Is it possible to have it in MSSQL extension?

I think having the ability to edit cells for tables directly using the MSSQL extension would be very beneficial since being able to modify values directly in-line with the results pane saves a lot of time. Right now when you click on a table you only have "select" options and no option to "edit".

Example (vscode):

Example (ssms):

This is one of the main reasons why I'm still using SSMS. Are there any updates when this will be implemented?

adding a +1 here.
Now that the ADS team has said they are sunsetting ADS and they recommend VSCode and mssql as a replacement, this is a must have feature. I am surprised that the ADS team would think VSCode and mssql extension are a viable replacement for ADS when it doesn't have this feature.
