Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

  • VS Code Version: Version: 1.97.2 (Universal)

  • OS Version: MacOS 15.4 (24E211)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Run python script with break-point set in the code
  2. try to type in the debug console, no auto-complete suggestions

I am having the same issue as well.
Macbook Air M1 with MacOS -ver 15.2 (24C101)
Vscode - Version: 1.97.2 (Universal)
Python Debugger - 2025.0.1
