When I connect to an SSH host for development, there are files that I sometimes download from the host to my local computer. When downloading such files, there is a notification that appears at the bottom left of the VS Code app. Two notification pop-ups appear on the bottom right of my screen whenever I click on it. However, there is no way to see how much of the data has been downloaded in total (percentage-wise). So I propose having a progress bar to show how much of the data has been downloaded when the user clicks "download" on a file in a remote development session. Can be similar to tqdm progress bar
Unfortunately, this pop up does not give much information on how much of the data has been downloaded and how much remains.
Is adding a progress bar when remote development via SSH connection possible?
