The easiest way to use this repository is with GNU stow. Dotfiles for individual programs are stored in diretories named after the program. The dotfiles for a program can be "installed" using the command stow <directory>
, where <directory>
is the directory to install files from. For example, to import the bash configuration, use stow bash
. Additionally, the stow_all.sh
script may be used to stow all the directories in this repository (or you can comment out the lines corresponding to directories you don't want to install for a customized installation).
