Included in this release right now are my tweaked fonts and personal favorites, optimized for reading on Kobo devices.

  • This release adds NV Elstob, a more recent discovery for me. This is a renamed version of Elstob at 12 pt.
  • As an added bonus, I've also added NV Elstob Eight, which is based on the 8 pt version of Elstob. Depending on how you prefer to read, this version may be more to your personal taste, as it is better suited for smaller text.
  • This release also adds NV Palatium, based on Domitian which is similar to Palatino, which is not present on Kobo devices, but is available on Kindles. So, now you have an equivalent for Kobo, too!

All fonts have been renamed for optimal use on my Kobo devices with correct Panose information, since Kobo devices sometimes have trouble dealing with some font family names. (For example, fonts containing a number in their name tend not to work correctly.)

Bonus fonts!

Also included in this release (but not included in the "mainline" collection):

  • NV Elstob Eight (based on Elstob 8pt, but renamed for Kobo compatibility and with 20% line-height metrics. OFL licensed.)
  • NV Source Serif (based on Source Serif 4, but renamed for Kobo compatibility and with 20% line-height metrics. OFL licensed.)

Not enough fonts? I have you covered.

The older release may still be of interest, as I've included my initial batch of tweaked fonts mentioned in the blog post there. All older modified fonts remain available there, including the eBook variants discussed in my blog post about customizing fonts.
