Greetings, i've been trying to get task level metrics for ecs tasks running on my ec2 instance. I get cluster information no problem but tasks based metrics are not sent at all. Is this something that's supported i can see for EKS there's an option to do this but for ECS type you can only get instance/cluster lvl metrics.
Currently the only way i see out of this is having sidecars (awsecscontainermetrics) sending the metrics to my daemon service collecting instance metrics. I'd rather have an otel collector daemon service running and collecting everything for that instance.
Is there a way to make this work? Currently having 3 agents 1 for the instance, 1 for every task and then application agent as well seams like a huge overkill.
