Thanks for this action, it's very useful :)

In a situation where this action is used to build binaries of a private repo to create a release at another public repo, how can the release be created without attaching any source code zip files? (Only attach the provided files.)

This is how GitHub Releases itself work, this behaviour is not related to this action.
Maybe, you can find something in the GitHub docs.
