    The test script can't use CREATE EXTENSION but has to use '\i' to execute
    the script directly, and consequently can't use MODULE_PATHNAME in the SQL
    script (because it's only set by CREATE EXTENSION).

    This means the test script can't use CREATE EXTENSION but has to use '\i'

  5. fixed invalid filename of the SQL script, version bumped to 1.3.2

    authored
    The previous package was broken because of the invalid filename, so
    this just bumps to 1.3.2 without introducing a 1.3.0 -> 1.3.2 upgrade
    script (because 1.3.0 was impossible to install).

  1. fixed naming issues in META.json files (estimator vs. counter)

    authored
    This is a bit messy, because while the extensions use 'counter' naming
    (adaptive_counter, bitmap_counter, ...), the distributions use 'estimator'
    (adaptive_estimator). The META.json used the naming incorrectly, so it
    was not possible to install the extensions using pgxn client.

    The naming difference is still there, i.e. this does about the same thing

      $ pgxn --load adaptive_estimator -d testdb

      $ psql -d testdb -c "CREATE EXTENSION adaptive_counter"

    A bit messy, the difference is pretty much unnecessary.

  1. estimator enhancements - support for merging, operators, version bump

    authored
    merging - all estimators except 'bitmap' support merging, i.e. computing
              estimators for parts of a set, and then combining them into
              a single one (for the set as a whole)

    operators - added '#' (computing estimate) and '||' (merging estimators)
Something went wrong with that request. Please try again.
