Current Behavior

After a few minutes the Windows app always throws multiple errors:

Error Authentication Failure

DioException [bad response]: This exception was thrown because the response has a status code of 429 and RequestOptions.validateStatus was configured to throw for this status
code.
The status code of 429 has the following meaning: "Client error - the request contains bad syntax or cannot be fulfilled"
Read more about status codes at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status
In order to resolve this exception you typically have either to verify and fix your request code or you have to fix the server code.

They have to be clicked away by either hitting esc continuously or clicking the Okay button.

Clearing the cache did not help, it starts again after a while:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\oss.krtirtho\spotube

Expected Behavior

No error message triggered.

Steps to reproduce

  1. opened app
  2. listened a while
  3. about 100 error messages layered above each other

Unfortunately it's not. It just happens when the app is running.
I also noticed that my iGPU is at 100% when this happens.
When I kill the process it goes back to 0%.
It's something about API rate limit of Spotify, so maybe something triggers over and over?

And not everything is functional, the covers, the likes, ...

Yes, you have to logout and login again, then it works, but problem is appearing again after that.

after playing around with spotube i believe the error is due to the fact that spotify is attempting email 2fa on password logins. you can get around this by assigning your google, facebook, or apple oauth in your spotify settings first. log out of spotify on spotube, then log back in with one of the oauth methods you configured and it should skip the email 2fa because it's an approved method.

I have tested, i have used with google account (2FA verification) and that not working, but @gitmotion thank for your idea

Unfortunately not, logout and log in works for a short time. If nothing works clearing cache also works.
