- Open the Chrome Web Store in your browser.
- Search for Shikshasetu: Autofill & Clipper.
- Click Add to Chrome.
- Confirm the installation by clicking Add Extension.
- Once installed, the extension icon will appear in your browser’s toolbar.
- Download the chrome extension zip file from releases section.
- Extract the zip file
- Open Chrome Browser and navigate to
chrome://extensions - Enable the developer mode
- Click on Load Unpacked
- Choose the extracted extension zip file
- Open the Firefox Add-ons page.
- Search for Shikshasetu: Autofill & Clipper.
- Click Add to Firefox.
- Follow the prompts to install the extension.
- Once installed, the extension icon will appear in your browser’s toolbar.
- Sign In: After installation, sign in with your account (create a new one if necessary).
- Enable Sync: Go to the extension settings and enable sync. This will allow your autofill data to be synced across all your devices and browsers.
- Sync Autofill Data: Your saved autofill data will automatically sync and be available across all devices where the extension is installed.
- Save New Data: When you fill out a form, the extension will prompt you to save the information for future use.
- Edit Saved Data: To edit or update saved entries, click the extension icon, navigate to Saved Data, and make the necessary changes.
- Fill Forms: When visiting a website with saved form fields, the extension will automatically suggest autofilling the fields. You can choose to autofill or fill them manually.
- Custom Autofill Settings: Customize the fields to be filled by accessing the extension settings. You can choose to autofill specific fields like names, emails, addresses, etc.
- Sync Issues: If sync is not working, ensure you're signed into the same account across all devices. Check your internet connection and ensure the sync option is enabled in the settings.
