Send VS Code notifications via Code CLI

I'm using Dev Container with the OpenAI Codex CLI in the container. Upon completing my task, I need a way to notify the user that it’s done. Currently, there seems to be no method to send notifications from the terminal. I hope this feature can be implemented.
