VScode crashes when deleting file (move to Recycle Bin)

Thanks for you time! But today when I tried to dump the crash with --crash-reporter-directory option, the crash gone away. Just before I use this option, the bug has been reproduced several times. Luckily, my cooperator has suffered from the same problem. I would upload the crash dump from his laptop later today.

I've got the screen record for the crash right now, but I failed to reproduce with the --crash-reporter-directory option. The crash just gone away with the provided option.

FYI, I've disabled all the extensions for VSCode in the video to exclude the suspicion that any extensions caused the crash. And the selected file is not deleted.

And I'd like to know whether I take the step to trap the crash the correct way:

1. I first closed all the VSCode instance, and open the folder contains the file to be deleted in the windows terminal with Powershell, and runs: code --crash-reporter-directory .\log
2. Then launch VSCode with command code . in the same shell.
3. Reproduce the delete file action.
4. And eventually, the selected file is deleted correctly, and no dump file created.

I've also tried code . --crash-reporter-directory .\log, and no windows were launched. So I wonder if I have misunderstood the instructions to dump native crash issues.

This issue is likely a duplicate of #236162, but the team has been unable to reproduce these issues in general.

For step 1, use an absolute path to an empty existing directory instead of a relative path. Then, VS Code should open. Then, try to crash that VS Code with your steps to obtain a crash dump.
