Type: Feature Request

Hi team,
I’m developing a .NET 8 iOS application using VS Code on macOS. As of now, it seems that debugging (breakpoints, stepping, attaching to simulator/device, etc.) is not supported for net8.0-ios projects in VS Code.

Given that Visual Studio for Mac has been officially retired,
I wanted to ask:
Is there any official or preview/debugging support currently available for .NET 8 iOS workloads in VS Code?
If not, is there any public roadmap, workaround, or guidance for developers who wish to debug .NET iOS projects using VS Code?
