Can we make a report of tests without running the tests with the --collectonly attribute?

when using with --collectonly , the report does not contain the list of tests

I see. I think it should be possible to create an alternate HTML report if --collectonly and --html are specified by implementing a pytest_collection_finish hook. The style of the existing report could be reused, but as most of the content of the existing report is related to the test outcomes, a lot will be irrelevant.
