Scott Weeden

Educator • Scientist • Programmer

With a strong foundation in Microsoft .NET and MSSQL Server programming, my professional experience has centered around standards-based Identity and Access Management systems. My GitHub repositories reflect a mix of personal projects and educational tutorials—intended primarily for demonstration rather than reuse or commercial application.

In recent years, I’ve shifted my focus toward secondary education, teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to grades 9–12. My courses have included subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. Alongside classroom instruction, I regularly publish technical articles and how-to guides tailored to mid- to senior-level developers exploring cutting-edge technologies including containerization, cryptocurrency, machine learning, and video game rendering engines.

As a graduate research assistant at Texas Tech, I integrate coursework with research to advance both educational practice and technical exploration. My current work involves asymptotic analysis of Bitcoin's data structures and methodologies, examining how its evolving architecture, regulatory environment, and historical development impact performance, scalability, and storage. This research targets mid-to-senior level developers with computer science backgrounds. My research articles, findings, and past work portfolio is available online at https://scottweeden.online
