Add an additional description before committing changes in source control

A user may only add a summary of made changes before committing changes in source control now. The description may only be added in other tools for instance GitHub Desktop. It needs to be added also in VSC. View it in the following issue:

And I have reviewed the current prompt in my instance and found it displayed incompletely, as a single row, contained in a too narrow box, as Message (Ctrl + Enter to commit o…, and the complete content hasn't appeared even if my cursor is in the box.

It is needed to extend the prompt as follows:

Message (Enter to carriage return. An empty line is needed between its summary and description. Ctrl + Enter to commit on "<current_branch>")

And extend the height of the box until the prompt is displayed completely.

You can expand the input using the scm.inputMinLineCount and scm.inputMaxLineCount settings.
