Create functional/validation tests

Currently retina does not have functional tests to validate behavior of features/configuration in an e2e fashion. These tests are important to assert correctness of functionalities provided and confirm that there's no regression over time.

E.g.
test behavior when `enableAnnotation` is enabled 
test behavior when `remoteContext` is enabled
