Midi over USB for Pico

I apologize if the answer to this question is obvious. Can the Pi Pico run midi over USB successfully using OpenDeck, or is the DIN Midi connector absolutely necessary?

Midi over USB works just fine on the Pi Pico, that's exactly what I'm running. Not sure if Pico 2 is supported, but I got the Pi Pico wireless and it works no problem. Turns out Bluetooth is not supported on the Pi Pico afaik, so you can just get the base model

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm looking to build a small mixer to control MIDI CCs in a DAW, so I think the 5 rotary encoders and 3 potentiometer limit will work just fine for my needs. Thank you again!

Setup is unbelievably easy (https://github.com/shanteacontrols/OpenDeck/wiki/Flashing-RP2040-boards), main gotcha is it only has 3 analogue inputs, so if you need more, maybe look at some of the other options
