Return an empty LogPath from crictl inspect on docker node

Hi all.

My problem is that, after i execute below command for getting container inspect information from docker cni , the Log Path field in JSON output is None and i don't know why

would you please help me figure this out.

For each pod in Kubernetes, there will be (at least) two containers started in Docker.

One is the application container, and one is the so called "sandbox" container (pause).

Only one of these is visible from the crictl command, as opposed to the docker command:

If you run crictl on the "invisible" (from CRI) container, it will have an empty logPath.
Note: it is docker cri, not cni. and it is the empty string "" not the None value of null
